I was looking for a PSC (Printer, Scanner, Photo copier) for my residence. HP cartridges would normally cost around Rs.800-1500. Its a basic rule that lower the price of the printer, greater will be its cartridges cost. However, this version is an exception.

HP has just recently introduced a new model "HP Deskjet K209a" version. It is an all-in-one with colour printer, flatbed scanner (so you could scan books) and also a PC-less photo copier (Xerox/copy also when PC is off).

As well as most important of all is, the catridges b/w or colour each expense only Rs.380. I mostly use A4 papers. It takes care of different sized documents yet, documents thinner than A4 density seem to get obstructed inside the develop.

I have actually been using it considering that 6 months and also have no concerns as well as just love this. The installment is very simple. Each b/w catridge will provide 600pages @ 75paise/page. The colour print would certainly produce 250 4x6 photos or colour paper prints @ 90paise/page. I got HP Picture paper as well as printed some pictures. The pictures look wonderful.

Thought the cost is Rs.8, 800, I got it for Rs.6600 at CTC, Secunderabad.
